SPECIAL DIVES
To go on any advanced profile dive, divers must first go on a regular profile, and the PADI dive master will evaluate a diver's performance (buoyancy control, air consumption, etc.). If the PADI dive master feels a diver should not go on an advanced profile, we will not take that diver regardless of the level of certification.
Note: We visit these locations only in good weather conditions.
PUNTA SUR 120 FT. DIVE
From the “Cathedral” to the “Devil`s Throat”, and all that’s in between, this is sheer excitement.
The wall, the mountains, the sand drifts, and the extensive tunnels. This is an advanced dive that is sure to please.
Because of the low light in the tunnels at Punta Sur, we require use of u/w lights.
MARACAIBO WALL 130 FT. DIVE
A deep dive with the big blue on three sides and a colorful wall on the other.
The wall here is laden with all colors, sponges, and deep water gorgonians.
Here you may fly with turtles, eagle rays, and an occasional shark.
MARACAIBO REEF 80 FT. DIVE
This 70-80 ft. reef is located off the light house on the south-east side of the island.
It is rarely visited by divers and you have a good chance of seeing turtles, rays, and nurse sharks here.
The marine life is abundant here with many species of coral different from the coral formations found along the west side of the island.
EAGLE RAYS
If you are a big fan of eagle rays or just want to live this amazing experience, you can’t miss out on Eagle Ray season during the months of December-March.
In this 2 tank trip to the north, you will dive the Cantarel Wall and San Juan Reef where you will witness amazing eagle rays schools. It is the experience of a lifetime!
We require a min of 4 divers for this trip.
