TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Please review our policies prior to booking your dives. If you have any doubt regarding anything stated, please feel free to contact us. We will happily attend to your questions.
Bookings, Check-ins, and Pick-ups:
All bookings must be done through our email scubadu@usa.net.
We will receive your booking, check our availability and return your message with further details (typically within 6 hours).
- All guests are required to check-in at our shop on the first day of their booked dives
or training, 30 minutes prior to the start time.
- Our shop is located at the Hotel InterContinental Presidente. Check our location on Google Maps.
- If staying on any oceanfront Hotel/Resort/Accommodation and would like to be picked up for
your days of diving, we kindly ask you to check - in at our shop either one day in advance
of your first day of diving, 30 minutes before your start time.
- We only pick up at oceanfront locations south of our shop on the way to the reefs. No
extra fees for pickups. Some of the most popular ones are: Landmark Resort, Fiesta
Americana, Paradise Condos, Costa del Sol Villas, Sunscape Sabor, Secrets Aura Resort,
Allegro Hotel, Occidental Grand, Iberostar.
Pricing and Payment
- All prices are in US dollars.
- We accept payments in: Cash US dollars & Pesos, Credit Cards and Paypal.
- We will only accept payments in Paypal up to 50% of the total balance.
Scuba Diving Policy
- All certified divers must show their temporary card of their SCUBA diving certification from
a recognized certifying agency.
- As a Divers Alert Network business member, Scuba Du is committed to scuba diving safety
and injury prevention. Therefore, we strongly recommend all participants to acquire a DAN
membership that provides emergency medical assistance and provides benefits that help
make you a safer, more informed diver and traveler. Click Here to Join DAN for only $35 USD.
- All divers must fill out the digital Scuba Diving Liability Release before of your first day of
diving.
- While diving within the Cozumel Reefs National Marine Park, divers must adhere to park
rules. Park rules will be reviewed by your Divemaster. Divers who intentionally disregard
Marine Park rules and/or Scuba Du Standards of Safe Diving Practices may have their diving
privileges revoked.
Cancellation Policy
- Cancellations made the night before by 7pm will receive a full refund. You may call in
a cancellation to Ext #6840, please make sure to note the name of the person confirming
the cancellation for your refund.
- If the Harbormaster closes the Port and and boats are not allowed to depart, your diving trip
can be rescheduled. If your itinerary does not align with ours, you will receive a 100% refund.
- Cancellations made the same day of the services, at any time or last minute, receive a 50%
refund. Last minute rescheduling will be charged a fee of 20% for changes within 60 min. of
departure.
- For no shows, there is no refund. No exceptions.
- If you need to cancel the night before and it’s after 7pm, you must leave a message with the hotel
operator with your name, room number and service you are cancelling in order to receive a refund.
